Music during surgery?

Has anyone ever heard of the patient having headphones on during surgery? I've read that listening to music will block out any noises (comments from the doctor, etc) and put you in a "nice place" while you're being operated on. This sounded goofy when I first heard it, but the more I think about it, it makes sense. Anyone ever heard of this? Thanks!
