has anyone had a second operation after their stoma completely closed.

Yesterday I had my endoscopy and they couldn't find any opening in the stomach, they looked for 45 minutes. My surgeon says I will have to have a second surgery to open it up. I am 6 weeks post op and I have to start at square one again, I'm scared to death. Please let me know if you got well after this procedure or if this was just the beginning of more things going wrong. Thank you, Lori Tan
