Is there anybody out there that had the surgery and had 70bmi/500pds pre-op?

I've been reading the boards and haven't found an answer to my specific question. Basically if you had those stats what was your success like? I've been reading that bodies are different and loss is different, but at this weight and bmi can I really expect(with hard work, following dr's orders) to get down to 160pds(my ideal weight)?
