Having open RNY on New Year's Eve, will I be able to play volleyball...

And if it's ok how long will I have to wait until I can play? I play on my Church volleyball team and I love it. It was always a great source of exercise and I am really anxious to find out if I can play. I will be having an open RNY on New Year's Eve. I know a lot of people say that you shouldn't twist & turn for fear of hernias, but I don't know if that means forever or if it's just while the incision is healing. Thanks! Ruth
