Is a lap VBG a much safer long-term surgery?

I've had 3 C-sections and back surgery last summer. A post-op WLS patient (lap RNY) said I could not have lap surgery because of all the scar tissue. True? Also, I am very nervous about the possibility of bowel leakage and infection and staple line deterioration. Will I get the same results with the lap VGB? Is it also easier to recover from and live with? Appreciate your comments...this is a scary decision and want to make the right one. Would also like any email partners who can share directly with me @[email protected]. I'm 37, from NW Iowa. THANKS !
