Has anyone gotten an approval for Lap RNY from this insurance especially in illinois

My doctor Alverdy is having a difficult time get Lap procedures approved from this carrier. They will approve the open which he is refusing to do. I have seen approvals of this is insurer. Please let me know if you have had your approval or surgery lap or open.
