Has anybody had Dr.Coirin do LAP surgery when your BMI is 68.0

I want this surgery so bad But I fear that I will get turned down for my surgery because my BMI is 68. I have tried to lose the weight on my own but because of my knee and back pain I can't walk very long because it hurts so bad. My Dr. is Antonio Coirin and i will be seeing him on October 19th I'm Hoping for good News...can anyone relate??? Jeanette Almendarez
