Has anyone had a problem with contact lenses after surgery?

I used to wear contacts a few years ago. Recently I decided to go back to wearing them but seems my eyes aren't happy with them! Eye doc said it is allergies to the lenses. I did not tell them about my WLS, do you think the amount of protein we eat or perhaps the way we absorb has anything to do with my eyes? Wendy
