Stringy Poop?

Sorry for the details... I went and thought I was finished but it was still there. I had to pull it out. It was stringy but not hard. The last time this happened I had swallowed a piece of gum and thought that was it. But no gum this time. I had a salad yesterday? Not used to this. Anyone else experience this?
