Why is my hair oily?

I am one month post-op and although I have never had oily hair prior to surgery, I have it now. I have tried changing shampoo, skipping conditioner, minimal brushing/touching of my hair and even a dandruff shampoo -nothing is working. Is this a result of the surgery/weight loss and does anyone know if it's permanent?
