Will newly purchased individual insurance cause alot of problems

I have not had insurance in years,the company I work for now does not offer group but they allow $300 a month for me to find my own.When I find the right policy,will I run into any problems(aside from the norm)in getting ANY help with obesity? I am thinking about trying for BCBS of GA,if they even accept me because of my weight. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
