What is the out of pocket cost w/ BC/BS fed. for LAP bypass WLS

My insurance BC/BS Fed. says they cover open gastric bypass only. I believe if you have lap they will still cover but you have to pay more. I am hoping someone can enlighten me on this subject. I would really like to have lap but don't know if I can afford it.
