Has anyone else gotten pleurisy after surgery?

I woke up at 3:00am with the most severe pain in my lower back only on the left side. This pain brought tears to my eyes where my surgery didn't. Each time I inhaled, yawned, burped the pain was horrible. I am now only able to take short deep breathes. My PCP saw me today and sid I had pleurisy and gave me a script for an antibotic. Was curious if anyone else had this as well? I would like to also ask why can't all the surgeons be on the same page as far as the post op diet is concerned? Some eat while in the hospital, some as soon as they get home. Some on only liquids for 2 weeks or more. Wouldn't it be nice to be all doing the same diet at the same time?
