My ins co has received documentation from my surgeon, but they want proof of mo.
I spoke to an AETNA rep today--I call everyday to see where we are in the approval game--and the rep said that the review board needed my medical history so they could see documented proof of morbid obesity for the past five years. Is this normal and what should I do about this? Should I go to my surgeon's office, get a copy of my medical records and FedEx the dang records AGAIN? Are they just stalling?
