What tests can be performed to show a leak in the lower stomach due to a staple line?

I had an open RNY with an anastomic leak due to a suture pull. If my tissue is so easily compromised, how do I know that my lower stomach isn't leaking acid into the body cavity - even in the smallest amount? A scope and an upper GI wouldn't necessarily show that would it?
