Got a surgery date, but may be laid off...Help!

I finally have a Nov. 29th surgery date. But there is a good possibility that I may be laid off after 24 yrs of work sometime within the next couple of months.I am so stressed because I feel I will have a very tough time finding a job at my current weight (400+) and I am single and sole support. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!
