Has anyone had thier dr order the endoscopy AND the colonoscopy?

What happened is there was some inconsistencies in my blood count...one read ok and the other read low..borderline anemic. So now he wants to check for any bleeding internally. I am TERRIFIED to have either test done and I am actually considering NOT having the surgery because of this. He said that I would be sedated BUT i have this huge fear of these tests. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. : (
