OK, Give me the real

Those of you that have had the Duodenal Switch operation: Does in really cause problems with loose stools and and fowl smell. I have heard that keeping the common section of the intestine to 100cm rather than 75cm dramatically reduces these problems. Please comment on your experiences (good and bad). Thanks
