Does anyone know if Kaiser of Colorado will do laproscopic RNYs ?

I realize there are probably more risks to doing the RNY laproscopically instead of open, but if I can get it, I'd rather recover faster and not have a huge scar running down my stomach if possible. (I have lots of little scars, the lap ports will fit right in *grins*) The only problem is that most of the people who have Kaiser seem to have had the open RNY, so I'm not sure if the lap is an option. Also, can a general surgeon perform a lap and how much experience/training should they have had first ? Thanks, Anita
