Does anyone have the feeling that food is stuck in their esophagus?

I have acid reflux for the last 5 years or so. I have been taking Prilosec, It has been working well, But latley it seems that my food is stuck and it kind of hurts in the lower throat. I am hopeing that this will goaway after surgery. Any input? Thanks Debbie H
