Has anyone had a POLYP found when they had their pre-op GI?

Ihad my pre-op Upper GI last Monday and the Dr. said he saw a POLYP,but at the time he said my WL Surgeon would probably remove it during my WLS>My PCP now is having me have a EGD to check this further.I'm worried and wondr if this hs happened to any other patients.All my bloodwork was good as was mychest x-ray and all other pre-op work.Pleae email me at [email protected] Thanks to everyone.
