How long does it take to go from first consult to surgery date?

I have my initial surgical consult on 2/29/00. I'm wondering how quickly the surgery is scheduled, assuming I meet the criteria, pass the tests, and my insurance approves. How long is the pre-op process? Could I get it done before Thanksgiving?
