Can't find records?

I was wondering what records are needed before medicaid will even think about approval .I have not been too a Doctor in year worked for 3 years but had no insurance it was to high.I went to diet doctor 8 years ago but since then he has passed away, I also had problems with joint pain in knees called clinic I went to but records are on microfilm and can not be copied how do I find records.
