Can't tolerate skim, would Soy be better?

I've been using no sugar added Carnation with 1/3 cup of powdered milk and 8oz skim milk. It's good, and is 20 grams of protein. My problem is every time I drink it, I throw up. This is the only drink that I can drink, the others taste so bad. Would using soy milk help me tolerate it better? HELP! This is the only protein I get right now. Thanks, Mary
