what can I expect to happen when I stop my birth control

I have never been off of hormones...since I was 17. I will be 30 in 10 days. Surgery scheduled for Dec 29th. Right now I am having my period (on schedule) removed my patch last Tuesday (I use Wednesday for my change the patch day so I can avoid having my period over the weekend). What can I expect for the next 3 weeks before surgery? Will I have any weight loss? Any other symptoms? I know I have to wait a month after surgery to go back on. YES, I know the patch supposedly isn't as effective above 200 lbs BUT you have to have sex to get preggers and I can't recall the last time we had intercourse. Usually just fool around.
