Are there any stats on reaccurring adhesions or small bowel obstructures?

I'd like to know how many times does or can small bowel obstruction reaccur- I had surgery (lap rny)dec. 6th,2002, I had emergency surgery on Oct 4th, for my first obstruction/hernia -thought everything would be fine. But,am in hospital right now-with 2nd obstruction,only this time he had to open me up and repair things, I had problems waking up,ended up in ICU for 3 days on life support. I'm scared this is going to happen again.....any one with any knowledge of this subject,I'd like to hear from. Tammy
