Getting in protein with carnation instant breakfast

I am hoping to have surgery soon. My doctor gave me a list of good sources of protein. At the top was one envelope of no sugar added Carnation instant breakfast with one cup of skim milk --- 14 gm of protein. I see a lot of people asking how to get in their protein. I know the protein drinks and the protein bars are not too tasty at all. Has anyone tried carnation??? 3-4 cups of this a day and you would have in your protein. That doesn't seem to hard to handle, of course I haven't actually tried it yet. Anyone who has????
