I had my upper GI and it said:

"Mild thickening of the gastric folds with may reflect underlying gastritis" "Several episodes of gastric esophageal reflux". The gastrologist wants me to have an Endoscopy to make sure these gastric folds won't interfere with the healing process of WLS? He said you don't want to be opened up for WLS and end up waking up without the procedure being performed. I'm confused, is this serious, has anyone gone thru this and what was your outcome? I'm terrified of this scope to! Thanks!
