Can I return to do the clinical rotations required 3-4 weeks after surgery?

I just began nursing school Fall 03. I want to have my surgery done Dec 03 after finals, then return for the spring semester. There's about 3 weeks between the semesters. I will begin clinical rotations 1-2 weeks after that. Luckily they will be in Pediatricts and OB. I'm am wondering if there are any nursing students or nurses that returned to work/school after about 4 weeks off and what limitations did you have?
