Anyone have this exclusion? Can it be fought?

I just recieved my first denial from my insurance company. The exclusion reads " No benefits shall be payable under the Plan for any charges resulting from: -Any treatment of obesity or weight reduction whether surgical or medical and/or complications arising from such treatment." I was told by a few people they thought this was airtight ... any suggestions? Also I am going to appeal and need help with a letter, any help would be greatly appreciated.
