How long does it take to get your initial denial letter in the mail?

I was denied last Tuesday 8/19. I need to appeal asap. I have already started the paperwork but I need to see the official denial. I know that I was denied for medical necessity and the 2 26 weeks diets. I am anxious to find out exactly what it says. Thanks Anniee
