Ilost my voice due to a paralyzed vocal cord. anyone else?

During an open rny my lungs collapsed , and a tube was placed to breath . One week after my vocal cord paralyzed, and has been 10 weeks with no return.Has anyone else had this happen and has it come back? I'm beside myself with hardly a voice to speak of , no pun intended!!!
