Looking for Type 1 Diabetic Post-Ops to share their WLS journey

I'm pre-op, 5'6 272 lbs, been insulin dependant diabetic for 9 years (80 units/day with pump), and have gained most of my weight since being diagnosised. To the post ops, does being diabetic mean the weight will come off the same as other WLS patients? HOw are your insulin requirements now.
