Did anyone have Lap RNY through Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO?

I am totally upset. I am considering having surgery and had done my endoscopy and stomach ultrasound, as well as nutritional evaluation. My paperwork has been submitted to Health Net and on Monday I found out that I am going to lose my job. Our company got bought out and some of us are going to be permanent employees of a new company. They'll offer insurance for a while, but I can't get Health Net Cobra, since my old company will cease to exist. I was in tears all morning on Monday.
