Yucky question, but is a concern to me

Whenever I have a bowel movement, there is usually some blood (bright red in color, not dark or black) on the tissue and in the toilet water. I try to drink enough water, but my bm's are still usually very dry and painful. Any suggestions? Is there something wrong with me? I don't have health insurance anymore and can't afford any healtcare. Thanks in advance. 5 months out,Open Rny, -78 lbs.
