On Dental Issues Post Op

Seems like there was a spate of post-op dental questions on here recently. I am 7 weeks post lap RNY and I wanted to share what my dentist did for me yesterday when I had my teeth cleaned. I told him about my surgery and about my new dietary habits (high protein, etc)and all my vitamin supplements. He recommended that I keep having my teeth cleaned twice a year, along with a fluoride treatment (costs about $35 if not covered by insurance) and that I use ACT anticavity fluoride rinse every night (you can get this at Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, etc.). Of course, I still have to floss (sigh).
