Has anyone....

I met with my surgeon and was given a date 05/16/2003 yeah....I guess. My surgeon gave me some news I was worried about and he confirmed my fears. I have a hernia the size of a small beach ball in my abdomen, and my surgeon is concerned that after he does the surgery he is concerned about closing my abdominal muscles. He may have to bridge the gap with mesh and then repair the muscles after I loose about 100 lbs. Has anyone else had this done, should I be concerned? From what the doctor said this could show a surgical necessity for most of a T.T. procedure. Anyone knowing or having experience please let me know.
