Does everyone get tested for H Pylori?

I had tested positive to H Pylori about 8 years ago and was put one the treatment, however, I am allergic to three classes of antibiotics used in the treatment so was unable to continue. I was then scoped to check my stomach and no damage or H pylori was found. My pre-op is 2/4/03 and my surgery date is 2/10/03, I am worried that they will postpone if they find this bacteria. I have no way to be treated for it. My surgeon's office hasn't mentioned it as one of the test so I am wondering if all doctors test for it or if some of you did not?
