Does Insurance pay for b12 injections yet? I have bc/bs

My red and white blood counts are low due to taking other meds and wls, I have a script that I have not filled, but I was wondering if insurance pays for b12 yet, it is $18.00 a shot, or can we give ourselves our own and it is cheaper? thanks Debra Holsomback wls 10/2000 from 253 to 125 from size 22 to 6/7 :)
