Does the texture of your hair also change after surgery?
Hi.. It's been almost 3 months since my surgery in mid-July, and my hair is really starting to fall out significantly. I'm worried about the texture and quality of the hair I still have left. Will it continue to look and feel the same, besides just being thinner? A friend told me that she knows someone who had the surgery a couple years ago whose hair ended up looking and feeling like straw a few months after the surgery. Is that what normally happens to the hair of gastric-bypass patients? In general, does the hair just look thinner, or does the quality/texture of the hair also deteriorate? And if the quality/texture DOES generally deteriorate, does anyone have any tips on making it look better? Thanks so much for your help! -Renee
