I am so confused about Net impact carbs. Please help.
I have been eating protein bars to supplement my protein intake. Some of them say that they only have 2-4 grams of net impact carbs. But the nutrition label says that there are 21 carbs in the bar. I am confused. My nutritionist didn't really have an answer for me on this and also couldn't tell me how many carbs I am supposed to be having. Not to add too much to this question, but they really push for me to drink three glasses of skim milk per day. Although good for protein, calcium and the such there are 12 grams of carbs per day. This in an of itself adds 36 g of carbs per day. Is this too much?
