Has anyone ever had to get a second opinion on a psych consult?

I had a psych consult with a man who didn't look at me and judged everything I said. I felt he wasn't listening but looking for something. This made me nervous. He turned me down for surgery and told me I have more than one disorder. I asked for my MMPI results and notes. He sent me notes but not the MMPI. I requested it and still have not received. I went to another PHD. and had a completely different report. I felt that this person listened and asked proper questions. She put me at ease the minute I sat down. I did however, take the MMPI all over again. Has anyone had this happen to them?
