Could someone with Cronic Hydroneprosis have WLS?

I was diagnosed with Cronic Hydroneprosis, means my left kidney has a blockage. I have a schedule date of may 16, for my WLS and still have not heard any new from my Dr. Did anyone have surgery with this problem or was the surgery cancel, Please help I am nervous and affraid that I will be cancelled.
