What can I do now to ensure a speedy recovery from Revision?
Good Morning everyone. I found out last night I have a Staple Line Disruption and am planning a revision. I had an Open RNY (not transected - obviously LOL!) on 3/26/01, and weigh 122 lbs. I am in good health other than the acid from the Staple Line Disruption. What can I do to ensure a quick, healthy recovery this time? I am exercising, drinking water, getting 90g of Protein a day in Supplements--should I be taking more? To those who have had revisions, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
