Does not having a gall bladder mean no surgery is possible?

I am 24, had my GB out over a year ago. I am in the process of "looking into" surgery. Can I still have surgery if I don't have my GB? If I can, are there any complications that not having will cause post-op? Wheew, so much soul searching in deciding whether or not to do this surgery!
