My PCP won't give me a referral?

I live in Houston and have aske d my PCP for a referral. She told me she has patients that have had this surgery and are heavier now from when they were before. She told she will not give me a referral. Does anyone know a PCP under Aetna HMO that can help me? I am approved through my insurance, but I feel like the rug was pulled out from under me when she told me no.
