Fistula

What should I ask my surgeon to do to repair it? He says this is his first fistula of this type, and I am nervous. Do I need a fobi instead, or can he just sew both holes? Also, I had a slow blood leak between the pouch and the intestine, discovered 3 weeks post-op (op was 1/18/01). Could the two problems be connected? Thanks! Tina
