What are my chances for an Appeal?

My insurance is Anthem BC/BS, which does cover WLS. The Co. I work for has dropped WLS from their insurance package that they offer d/t various complications in the past. I called the benefits dept of my corperation and asked what I could do. The woman told me to write a letter with my reasoning to desire WLS and try to get them to change thier mind. Since as short time ago as two years they covered WLS, and I am not a high risk -- I'm a "lightweight" ( 109 lbs to lose), I don't have heart problems and I heal quickly -- I wondered if anyone had a hopeful word for me. Are my chances good? I could really use some positive thoughts my way!
