Has anyone had the surgery at 59 years old, and one kidney?

I know someone who wants to have this surgery, but she lost a kidney to Cancer and shes 59. Does anyone know of a doctor who would approve her? Shes been turned down 4 times already. We live in Alabama. Thanks.
