Has anybody tried 5-HTP a natural form of L-tryptophan?
It is supposed to help curb cravings for carbs and relax a person. It increases the serotonin in the brain. From what I understand, serotonin is the chemical that produces feelings of calmness and satisfaction in us. I tried two capsules and feel asleep! It is the same chemical in warm milk and in turkey that produces sleepiness. As far as cravings, well, I haven't had any today! Any body have any info on this?
